With just about everything in place,
Breeze Easy, Inc. threw a team building thank you party
on the water for everyone who has helped get BE off
of the ground. A Maxum 53 Express was obtained
for the occassion.
There is a story inside this story. Dr. Blozan attended
a fund raising party for Challenged
America. Equipped
with B'Quest, a Tripp 40 design, an entirely disabled
crew made the race this year. At a fund raising
party before the race, one had the opportunity to purchase
raffle tickets and to place each in various jars at
a back
table
providing chances at winning various donated goods.
When Dr.
Blozan saw
the donated bay cruise prize, he placed all of
his tickets into the jar and won!
This proved to be a perfect venue for taking a final
break from the frenzied efforts made by everyone involved
before our formal launch. We took the boat out of San
Diego Bay and up to Mission Bay where we enjoyed a
catered meal of shrimp and tri-tip while watching races
hosted by the Mission Bay Yacht Club, which Dr. Blozan
